Spring 2020 Coronavirus Updates (COVID-19)

Hand Washing Coronavirus COVID-19

We at WHC remain committed to the health and safety of our patients, employees, and providers. As always, we take great care to ensure that proper hand hygiene and office sanitation practices are performed by all members of our team. With increased risks related to COVID-19, we have bumped up our efforts even more.

We have reduced our office schedule and at this time are only seeing prenatal patients and those with essential medical needs. For non-essential medical visits or those not requiring in-person evaluation, we are scheduling tele-medicine consultations as deemed appropriate.

We are also ONLY allowing the patient in the office. No partners, guests or children are allowed in the office at this time. If a person requires physical assistance, one person can accompany that person to their visit.

If you are experiencing ANY COLD OR FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, including a cough, fever, runny nose, or shortness of breath, OR if you think that you have been exposed to COVID-19, we will not be able to see you for your appointment.

Please call the office at 312-263-5517 so we can work with you to reschedule your appointment. If you think you still need to be seen, please call us to discuss your individual issue. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we must prioritize the protection of you, our other patients, and our staff.

We also understand that there are many reasons to have a cough, runny nose, and fever that are not associated with the COVID-19 virus, but we must keep everyone's health our primary concern.
