COVID UPDATES as of 5/5/2020
Following state and local guidelines, we are progressively starting to reopen our office.
Your health remains our top priority. To continue to provide for you in a safe way, we are altering how we do business to comply with social distancing recommendations.
We are currently beginning to schedule annual exams and other routine appointments. We have made changes in our appointment spacing to minimize potential wait times and are implementing additional cleaning processes and PPE usage to minimize risk to our staff and patients.
For patients who feel more comfortable with virtual consults and follow-ups, we are pleased to extend the availability of these services for the foreseeable future.
We at WHC remain committed to the health and safety of our patients, employees, and providers. As always, we take great care to ensure that proper hand hygiene and office sanitation practices are performed by all members of our team. With increased risks related to COVID-19, we have bumped up our efforts even more.
We are also ONLY allowing the patient in the office. No partners, guests or children are allowed in the office at this time. If a person requires physical assistance, one person can accompany that person to their visit.
If you are experiencing ANY COLD OR FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, including a cough, fever, runny nose, or shortness of breath, OR if you think that you have been exposed to COVID-19, we will not be able to see you for your appointment.
Please call the office at 312-263-5517 so we can work with you to reschedule your appointment. If you think you still need to be seen, please call us to discuss your individual issue. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we must prioritize the protection of you, our other patients, and our staff.
We also understand that there are many reasons to have a cough, runny nose, and fever that are not associated with the COVID-19 virus, but we must keep everyone's health our primary concern.
